Follow these steps to set up the integration between Snowflake and Shadowfax. Each step will provide SQL scripts that you need to execute in your Snowflake worksheet.

Create Shadowfax Role

This step requires the SYSADMIN role

1. Create role

CREATE ROLE IF NOT EXISTS SHADOWFAX COMMENT = "Shadowfax AI data engineer";

2. Transfer ownership of the SHADOWFAX role to the SYSADMIN role

GRANT OWNERSHIP ON ROLE SHADOWFAX TO SYSADMIN COPY CURRENT GRANTS;

3. Grant SHADOWFAX role to the SYSADMIN role

GRANT ROLE SHADOWFAX TO ROLE SYSADMIN;
